As momentum builds for the University of Surrey’s 5G Innovation centre, we were approached by the team once more to come up with some imagery that would somehow convey the invisible technology that is 5G.
With the key focus being the ‘connectedness’ and nature of the technology, other buzz words and phrases such as ‘the internet of things’ ‘latency and spectrum’ and ‘revolution and engagement’ formed the foundations for our creative solution. Shown here is the selection of imagery presented to the University which were so well received that all were chosen to feature in a variety of digital and print material.
Due to open it’s doors in September this year, the 5G Innovation Centre (5GIC) at the University of Surrey is the UK’s only research centre dedicated to the next generation of mobile communications. Bringing together leading academic expertise and key industry partners in a shared vision, the 5GIC will help to define and develop the 5G infrastructure that will underpin the way we communicate, work and live our everyday lives in the future.
Glassup and Stoski hope to continue our involvement with this exciting project and look forward to seeing this fantastic facility in the near future. For more more information on the project visit http://www.surrey.ac.uk/5gic or follow @5GIC on Twitter
